The trial on the downing flight MH17 started in the Netherlands on March 9. Even at this early stage, some new details have been revealed regarding the case. The court has confirmed the official explanation of the crash – that the Malaysia Airlines plane was hit by a surface-to-air missile fired from a Buk anti-aircraft missile system brought from Russia. And according to the prosecution, two Buk systems were brought to the Donbas from Russia, but one of them broke down.
