The firm is a counsel to 7 out of the top 20 airlines of 2017”.

Mr. Andriy Guck is also noticed among notable practitioners in the field of Litigation. The ULF ranking payed attention to the fact that “Ante acts in complicated litigations for its key industries practices – aviation and pharmaceuticals (…) The firm represents Sanofi in one of the most notorious business pressure cases of 2017. A dispute regarding defense of huge real estate property rights is being handled within a seller’s bankruptcy procedure. A number of corporate, IP rights, competition and public procurement conflicts are also the subject of litigation work”.

One more Ante’s practice is Pharmaceuticals, where “Ante is acquiring a rapid reputation, provided legal assistance on IP, labor, medicines and medical devices regulations, commercial, antitrust and competition”.

Taxation and customs issues are also Ante’s field of practice, especially in aviation and pharmaceuticals areas. The ULF admitted that “the team’s remit extends to complicated cases with medical devices and medicines, aircraft import and cargo operations”.

In the field of Antitrust & Competition “the team acts regarding public procurement conflicts and unfair competition practice cases. In 2017 Ante represented the interests of airlines in all AMCU activities in the aviation, market, and advised on airport fees and other antitrust issues”.

Corporate practice led by Mr. Roman Storonskiy were presented by “advising of Qatar Airways on its entering the Ukrainian marker and Alitalia on business model options for Ukraine. Other investors were supported in opening a subsidiary or representative office in Ukraine as well as all corporate relations issues”. The team was enlisted by the Council of Europe office in Ukraine for corporate structure analysis media entities and drafting internal documents for the national Ukrainian public broadcasting company”.

Ante also advises on IP issues related to brands and trademarks, copyrights, fair usage, transfer of ownership, taxation, IP rights protection. Among notable projects in 2017 was analysis of EU legislation of PDP and IP protection in aviation, focusing on advanced passenger data. Also Ante gets more involved in the media sector. In the field of Real Estate Ante was involved in project related to ICAO standards and recommended practices applicability to as construction of an apartment block near an airport, to conflict regarding disputes between landlord and company hiring office premises.

Labor & Employment practice was also commented by the ULF. For example, the firm performed a full audit of labor relations for big pharma marketing company and resolved a few complicated staff dismissal issues for a global pharmaceutical company. On the dispute front Ante dealt with a number of labor disputes between top managers and employers and was involved in representing of both parties.
